AI Use Policy — BizJam LLC

Last updated: 8.1.26

Our Approach

BizJam takes an integrative approach: every plan, audit, or strategy is built specifically for your business or artist project — not templated, not generic. AI is one tool in that process, used to accelerate research, drafting, and admin so that expert-level consulting stays fast and affordably priced. The strategy, judgment, and final direction behind every deliverable are ours.

Where AI Supports Our Work

  • Research and industry data gathering
  • Early drafts and idea generation
  • Administrative and operational efficiency

Where It Doesn't

  • Final creative direction and strategic recommendations
  • Client-specific decisions that require our judgment and industry experience
  • Your custom plan itself — AI-assisted drafts are always reviewed, refined, and finalized by us before they reach you

Fully Organic (Non-AI) Option

For clients who want a fully organic, non-AI-touched campaign or plan, we offer that as a separate option. Because it requires significantly more manual hours, fully organic engagements are priced at double our standard rate. Let us know at booking if this is what you're looking for.

Flash Sale Flyer is our one fully non-AI product by default: a single custom flyer design for $25, including one revision (typo fixes excluded from the revision count).

Environmental Note

We're aware that AI's environmental footprint depends heavily on how and where it's run. U.S. data centers, in particular, often lag behind environmental practices already standard in other parts of the world. We use AI thoughtfully with that in mind, and we support better environmental standards for data infrastructure going forward.

Your Data

Client materials, business details, and creative assets shared with us are not fed into public AI tools or used to train any AI model. See our Privacy Policy for more on how we handle your information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our tools and processes evolve. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent version.

Refund & Cancellation Policy — BizJam LLC

Applies to all services and products offered under BizJam LLC, including bookkeeping services.

1. One-Time Engagements (Audits, Consulting Sessions, Project-Based Work)

Deposits are non-refundable. A deposit secures your project slot and covers initial scoping, research, and calendar reservation. Before work begins: If you cancel before any deliverable work has started, the deposit is retained; no further payment is owed. After work begins: Once work has started, you are responsible for payment for all hours or milestones completed, prorated against the total project fee. No refund is issued for work already delivered. Completed deliverables: Once a final deliverable (audit, report, session, filed document, etc.) has been delivered, the engagement is considered complete and is non-refundable.

2. Rescheduling & Missed Meetings

Meetings and scheduled sessions may be rescheduled at no charge up until 2 hours before the scheduled start time. If you need to reschedule, contact us before that 2-hour cutoff. Missed meetings: If you do not show up and have not rescheduled by the 2-hour cutoff, the booking is considered a missed meeting. Missed meetings are non-refundable and are not eligible for rescheduling.

3. Retainer Engagements

Retainers are billed in advance for a defined period (monthly or as specified in your agreement). Unused retainer hours do not roll over and are not refundable at the end of the billing period, unless otherwise stated in your signed agreement. Cancellation of a retainer: Requires written notice per the notice period in your agreement. You are responsible for payment for the current billing period in full; no partial-period refund is issued. Early termination: If you terminate before the end of a committed retainer term, any discount applied for the committed term is forfeited, and fees are recalculated at standard rate for months already completed.

4. Non-Refundable Items (All Engagements)

Third-party costs already incurred on your behalf (filing fees, software, contractor pass-through costs) Rush fees Travel expenses already incurred Custom work product, drafts, or materials already delivered to you

5. Industry-Specific Notes

Music/entertainment consulting: Creative and strategic recommendations are professional opinion; refunds are not issued based on dissatisfaction with subjective creative direction once work has been delivered as scoped. Bookkeeping: Refunds are not issued for periods where reconciled books, reports, or filings have already been delivered.

6. Digital Products

Satisfaction guaranteed. If you’re not happy with a digital product (templates, guides, downloadable files, courses, etc.) for any reason, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund — no questions asked. After 30 days, digital product sales are final.

7. Physical Products

Physical products may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund, provided the item is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging. Buyer covers return shipping, unless the item arrived damaged or defective, in which case we cover return shipping and issue a full refund or replacement. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. To start a return, contact us with your order number before shipping anything back — items returned without prior contact may not be eligible for a refund.

8. How to Request Consideration

If you believe an error was made in billing or a deliverable did not match the agreed scope, contact us in writing within 10 business days of the invoice or delivery date. Requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis; approval of any exception is at our discretion and does not waive this policy for future engagements. This policy is part of, and should be read alongside, your signed services agreement. In the event of conflict between this policy and a signed agreement, the signed agreement controls.
